Hormonal Balancing

You know how a lot of women experience:

  • uncontrollable moods (irritable, tearful)
  • cravings for sweet (chocolate) or salty foods
  • fluid retention
  • irregular &/or heavy periods
  • weight gain despite eating well and exercising
  • history of ovarian cysts &/or uterine polyps
  • poor temperature control (hot flashes)

Many of these women are suffering from hormone imbalance.  One major contributor is experiencing a poor reaction to long term stress. This can cause a depletion of sex hormones leaving an imbalance.  How?  Due to long term stress, stress hormones become depleted.  Sex hormones are then converted by the body to be used as stress hormones; thus leaving sex hormones deficient.  Remember-it's not stress but our reaction to it that causes dis-stress.

Of course there are other health conditions that exhibit similar symptoms; it's always best to check it out with your doctor or primary health care provider.
